If you have an email from the insured you can send it to the ABACUS mailbox and it will be passed onto the relevant insurer or you can refer to the complaints procedure which will be noted within the policy wording or policy schedule depending on who the policy is insured with.
Claims can be emailed to insurers or calls can be made to the claims contact number. For efficiency it is best to call insurers first to put them on notice and to be given an idea as to what is required to move the claim forward.

Policy excesses and endorsements can be found in the policy schedule or wording depending on who the policy is insured with.
On the ABACUS site click on the claims section at the top right of the page. From there select the relevant insurer and contact details will be provided.

Only if there is a let or vacant self contained aspect to the property. We don’t class leaseholders as owner occupied so would need the tenant type for those ie working, retired etc. and we won’t cover the insureds own contents.
ABACUS work on an index linking basis
On your broker home page search for the client who requires cover, click on their name to bring up the case options for the client, halfway down the page should be a ‘request hold cover for this policy’
Once ABACUS has provided terms for a referred case, this will now be locked down until you contact us to update risk information etc. Once contacted we can update for you or free up for yourselves to edit if you need to make any changes
This will be on a 12-month indemnity and will be either 20% or 33% of the rebuild value depending on provider
The unoccupied undergoing works product is for residential properties only. If you have an unoccupied commercial Risk with works, this will need to be placed on the Unoccupied commercial Online product

Green incepted policies tab on your broker home page
Once a quote has been placed on cover this will now appear under the Green incepted policy tab on the website. From here you will have access to full policy documents, the option to renew or lapse a policy & to submit a policy amendment.
Please give us a call or an email for us to get these actioned. We hope to have this lived on the website soon.
Once a change is submitted on the website, a PDF will appear under the policy document section of your request, one of our dedicated team members will look to process this or get in touch if more information is needed. This will be processed in line with our service standards.
